Helene Martin has been working with her hands since the age of 12. She paints mainly with oils, using textures, design and colour to create fascinating paintings. Realism is felt throughout her work. Helene continually experiments with new techniques to improve her artwork. She likes to paint outdoors to bring to her work all the sensations she feels from her surroundings.

Hélène Martin travaille de ses mains depuis l’âge de 12 ans. Elle peint principalement à l’huile et utilise textures et couleurs pour créer des scènes fascinantes. Son style réaliste se ressent à travers tout son œuvre. Hélène aime expérimenter avec de nouvelles techniques pour améliorer ses œuvres. Elle aime à peindre à l’extérieur pour apporter à son travail toutes les sensations qu’elle y ressent.

Hélène now lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, after more than 35 year in ON.
