Dartmouth is called the City of Lakes et c’est vraiment un nom approprié. Those lakes often have water plants growing close to the shore.

This painting is a plein air painting, done on the shore of Oat Lake in Dartmouth, were my daughter lives with her family and where I often go visit and paint.
